Web Design

Mark has been making websites since the mid-90′s, when people were first asking, “What’s a website, and how can I get one for myself?” While at Yale in the early 2000′s, he designed the websites for the Yale University Bands and the Yale University Visitors Center. Though those designs have since been replaced, they served tens of thousands of visitors and were important parts of the University’s web presence for years after Mark left campus.

Mark is currently designing websites for non-profit organizations and individual artists (filmmakers, musicians, etc.). He uses his diverse professional and personal experiences to connect with client’s needs, and he uses his no-nonsense aesthetic sense to produce clean, attractive, and original designs.

Mark has experience leveraging free/open-source/off-the-shelf tools to easily and cost-effectively add professional features to websites, including mailing lists, e-commerce, and content management systems.
